After transcribing the Registers of the'parish, it seemed to me that the Registers of Burial might with advantage be supplemented by the Monumental Inscriptions in the Church and Churchyard. Meanwhile, having drawn out a list of the Rectors of Kingston, I thought that this also would find an appropriate place in a collection of such Parish records.The Registers of the two earliest books here printed have been copied verbalizzi. The first book, 1558-1745, consists of 50 leaves of parchment, about t5in. By 6in. The second book, 1745-1812 (marriages, 1745 similar in size, though but hal£ filled, is bound in leather and stamped on the cover with the lettering - The Register Book of Kingstone, 1744.
