Weight Gain

In this book, the authors discuss women's attitudes, the health implications and psychological challenges of weight gain. Topics include whether exercise training can reduce the prevalence of obesity with a high-fat diet; women's body image and weight gain in pregnancy; maternal weight gain and perinatal outcomes; and women's perceptions of post-partum weight retention and their body image in relation to breastfeeding outcomes in Japan.
