Voices of Alexander

This is a story from the streets. This is an urban story, desolate and deprived. There are no green fields, no cows, no chickens and no hope of some fairy tale happy ending. The only trees are those in parks with benches, bins and litter. This is a story of cracked paving stones, graffiti covered walls and charcoal tarmac that always looked wet. This is a story of grey coloured winters, uncomfortable summers and a time when it always seemed to rain. A story of grey tower blocks and dead roses. But thereÕs colour here. You just have to look a little closer to see it in the people, the voices, the smells, tastes and the forlorn hope of all that entered the Alexander. The place has an edge but it has a heart too Ða passion.
