Vincenzo Balzani

Vincenzo Balzani (born 15 November 1936 in Forlimpopoli, Italy) is an Italian chemist specialising in the photochemistry of coordination compounds. As of 2011 he is head of the Photochemical Nanosciences Laboratory in the Department of Chemistry "G. Ciamician" at the University of Bologna. He is an ISI highly cited researcher.
