Victorian Magazines

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Victorian Magazines were perhaps the greatest vehicles of topical dissemination throughout Britain and America in the mid-late 19th century and early 20th century; and are credited for liberalizing society and advancing globalization. Some of the more popular magazines (based on their sells) were Scribner''s Magazine, Harper''s Monthly, Leslie''s Magazine, McClure''s, Century and Puck Magazine. Although the Victorian era spanned from 1837-1901 (Queen Victoria''s birth and death), most magazines derived from the period circulated beyond the Victorian and Edwardian period, and for reasons of flow, all magazines from 1850-1930 are included.
