Truth or Dare

Rachel Morgan's world is turned upside down when she arrives at her work to encounter FBI agents ready to charge her with embezzlement. She escapes and runs to the only person she can trust. Arriving at her fiancé's loft, she finds it deserted, and comes to the realization that he's set her up. After discovering clues implicating a casino owner as his accomplice, she embarks on a journey to prove her innocence. Dare Mc Quinn, owner of the Missouri Queen and ex-special ops soldier is deeply haunted by his past, and just slightly troubled by his present. He's without an assistant. So when his grandfather informs him, he has the perfect person for the job, he takes notice, but is amused, when he hints that she may have a clandestine past. That is until he meets his new assistant, and has to agree. He'd vowed years ago never to take responsibility for another, but in the battle that follows he will have to utilize all his experience as a former soldier to save her, and to safeguard his heart.
