Transmutation Gamble

In this continuation from the first The Powers Within book, the story continues as the group must deal with the death of one of their own and try to keep him safe from the evil forces that want to take the powers. Stephen, Brent and Marc continue to come to terms with their growing bond as new villains arise and old ones make themselves present again to try and steal the powers of the universe. A new ally makes herself known, bringing up the question of whether she is good or evil as the group tries to protect the powers and begin to find things about their pasts that could change their present lives forever. With more twists and turns than before, the story proceeds to develop into the ever-changing lives of three of the best agents in the entire world as they try to stop the forces of evil from taking over the powers of the universe.
