The poems in this book move in a series of circles revolving around a central theme - Love. Liken it to a book of Love songs with 58 love songs or poems, each dealing with some aspect of the courtship and wedded love of the lover - Kachim, and his beloved Obim. While part I is an outpouring of Love from the lover, part II is from his beloved who adds a couple of poems for their baby, the fruit of their wedded bliss. When the couple are together, they are mutually fulfilled. They communicate heart to heart, speaking volumes sometimes in that profound perfect silence where words are no longer necessary because they hear each other's heart - two hearts, one beat. When they are apart, they experience a longing for each other's presence. The literary climax of this book, is found in the poem titled I would lay down my life for you. The book describes courtship and married love, throughout. The various metaphors and descriptive language portray the emotion, power and beauty of romantic and wedded love.
