A Time to Gather Stones

In the years after World War I, society debutante Lindy Forrest marries Bernie Jones, son of immigrants and moves to a small Kansas town to take up a life as wife and mother while he and a friend stablish a weekly newspaper. While Lindy deals with a husband who is obsessed and a child who often seems possessed, it takes an act of violence to bring out her inner strength.
