The Theory Of Neutralization And The Archiphoneme In Functional Phonology

This volume proposes a theory based on, but different from, that of the (neo-)Prague School. All principle notions of this theory are critically reviewed from a functionalist point of view, in order to come to a maximally functionalist theory.
