Descrizione Caratterizzazione della camera di pompaggio di una pompa dosatrice
The following analysis shows the main features of the transient of fluidodynamic field, in the very delivery phase of a dosing pump through a FEM model. The bidimensional model represents exclusively a preliminary analysis of the real matter in a tree dimensional reality. The dosing pumps are diaphragm pumps in which the pumping process is realized through a diaphragm which, deforming, transmits speed to the working fluid and meanwhile, reducing the pumping chamber volume, is providing for overpressure that brings on the out coming of the fluid in the pumping chamber itself. The model will show an interaction between two different physics: structural and fluid mechanics. The equations of motion comes up from a diverse description of the fields, therefore a hybrid description will be introduced under the name of ALE. In chapter 1 the diaphragm pumps will be more accurately described, moving on to physic governing the running, until individuating the real operative conditions in the delivery phase. In chapter 2 the FEM modelling is introduced, whereby geometry, mesh, initial and boundary conditions will be analyzed in details. In chapter 3 the results over the flowing-rate will be showed out and additionally several important phenomena will be described, on which deeper analysis will be carried on.
