Tan Kok Wai is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Cheras constituency in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. He is the National Vice-Chairman of Democratic Action Party (DAP) in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition. Tan was elected to Parliament in the 1995 election, and is currently serving his fourth consecutive term.
