The study of the western culture canon and critical thinking assessment

The volume presents the results of the research project entitled The Study of the Western Culture Canon and Critical Thinking Assessment, promoted by the Centre for Museum Studies and funded by the Department of Education, University Roma Tre. Within the project, the Centre for Museum Studies has projected and developed a prototype for the automatic evaluation of Critical Thinking skills through open ended questions. Moreover, researchers designed educational paths addressed to university students and focused on the description and interpretation of literary texts and works of art belonging to the Western Cultural Canon.
