Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is an important tropical fruit, which is being grown in more than 100 countries of the world. It has been a major fruit owing to its particular climatic requirements, however its delicious taste, unique flavor with high nutritive value has made it equally popular across the globe and its demand and trade is expanding rapidly in other parts of the world especially in Europe and America. Apparently, there are two primary centers of origin of mango.
