The Spirit of Imagination

What a way to spend summer vacation, but Kristen and her three best friends soon learn that their days volunteering for the local retirement home will transform their lives and spiritual relationships for life. In the fictional novel The Spirit of Imagination: Mystery of the Morning Star, eleven-year-old Kristen and her friends strike up a friendship with one of the residents, Linda, who teaches them about astronomy while sharing a story of her twin sister, Angie. The sisters shared adventures, laughter and wishes made on a morning star, which all added to Linda's growing realization of God's presence. Through her story, Linda teaches the children life lessons on friendship, prayer, family and forgiveness as they discover who God is and His love for everyone. Kristen and her friends gain a greater appreciation for the gifts of the elderly while learning to trust God to create goodness in any circumstance.
