Songs In Group Psychotherapy For Chemical Dependence

A short-term, cognitive-behavioural method of group work for chemical dependence that relies on using specially selected songs to address issues encountered in different stages of recovery. Each session involves listening to and discussing a song, and then re-writing another song and applying the insights gained.
