Sometimes It Rains

A pastor with a dark secret from his youthful past, buried deep within his subconscious, cannot forgive himself. He is called to a moderately progressive church set in the deep south Bible Belt, and has several good years of growth there before everything begins to fall apart. His past is brought back to haunt him as things begin to go wrong. The story moves quickly as shock after shock hit him and his wife, such as multiple murders and the kidnapping of their daughter. Suspicions grow that he is involved in pornography and a homosexual lifestyle. He and his wife grow through their own personal problems and come together with an ending where they find true peace with God and their fellow man. Rain, signifying troubles here, falls within everyone's life at one time or another, and the way we deal with it is a measure of our character and our faith.
