Something New for Advent

This Catholic Parent Know-How is geared to giving you ideas for activities, information, and support for living Advent in the way it is meant to be lived, from our Catholic Faith perspective. Advent begins four Sundays before Christmas Day and is designed to help us develop an attitude of contemplation on the hope that Christ's coming -- both 2,000 years ago and in the unknown date of the future -- gives us.Using some of the suggestions in this booklet can give a sense of order to the anticipatory nature we parents want to stimulate and direct toward Christ. We also hope that some of the material here will help parents better appreciate the beauteous nature of the Church's celebration of the season.
