Skippy the Dog in the Band

"Skippy the Dog in the Band" is based on a true story of a dog who dreams about being adopted and pursuing his love of music. Skippy feels his chances of getting adopted are slim to none because he isn't as good looking as the other dogs. But one day, as Al's ice cream truck is parked outside the pound when someone comes in looking for a very special dog. Skippy feels like he doesn't have a chance because he can't get his tail to stop wagging to the music coming from the ice-cream truck. To Skippy's surprise, his wagging tail helps get him adopted. Skippy is even more surprised when he finds out that the dad in his new family plays the trumpet in the band. Now Skippy, has a new dream; to march behind dad in the Fourth of July Parade!
