Sins Of The Fathers

Once in a great while some fact or incident was mentioned, like the fact that two of my mother's older sisters, Bernice and Virginia, had died in their late teens or early twenties, one from pneumonia, the other from diphtheria. Another sister, Mary, who was in her thirties when she died of a heart condition, had actually been married to my father prior to my mother being married to my father! My sister and I joked about whether we should call our father Dad or Uncle!
I've barely mentioned but a few names of some of the real people in my life, but they are all special to me in some way, for one reason or another; and I could write a whole book on the real stories. However, many of those stories are the personal stories of those people and families; and I wouldn't want to infringe on their privacy.
And so, as I have stated, I have written this story of fiction taking artist's license to the limit!
