Shibumi and the Kitemaker

She says she will not come down until the city below her is as beautiful as the palace . . . This is the message that Shibumi, daughter of the emperor, passes down to her father as she dangles from a majestic kite that flies high above the city. Her worried father does not know what to do, but a young samurai determines to find the princess and sets out on a long and difficult journey that eventually brings her back to her father and a transformed city.
