Shell Structures, Theory and Applications

This volume contains full texts of 114 papers selected for presentation at the 8th Conference "Shell Structures: Theory and Applications," 12-14 October, 2005, Jurata (Poland). The papers reflect a wide spectrum of scientific and engineering problems of shell structures and are divided into six groups: general lectures, theoretical modelling, stability, dynamics, finite element analyses, and engineering design. Particularly valuable and extensive contributions were presented by Prof. I. Andrianov (Ukraine), Prof. V.A. Eremeyev (Russia), Prof. A. Ibrahimbegovic (France). Prof. P.
