Sand In My Shoes

"Sand in My Shoes" is a treasury of the life of Ruth Nicholson Lindstrom, revealed in her homespun poetry and vivid memories of pioneer life in Miller, Indiana. She wrote of her ancestors, Swedish pioneers who left their homeland to settle in Miller, living amid the sand dunes and swamps on the southern shores of Lake Michigan. This collection was compiled and edited by Ruth's granddaughter, Verlaine Wright, as a lasting tribute to her grandmother.
