It seemed such a small thing when Julius Caesar discovered the bicycle, but his acute mind instantly saw how this was the great game changer. Armies could get to battle many times faster and not be exhausted when they got there. Plus communication took on new dimensions, so many advantages. With this single invention everything changes. Caesar survives (Because he has a bike to escape the assassins) and Rome never falls. It continues spreading its empire across the world to the present day! Yet the republic is a victim of it's own success. 2000 years on, and not a lot has altered in the fabric of day to day society - Until a little known troupe of un-funny comedians called Eruptus Non-Funnius decide they are heartily sick of sacrificing chickens.
