In this adventure, Rita and her friends race to the rescue to save planet Earth from certain doom at the hands of the Nemesis Armada, a band of evil aliens. The evil space Alien Eruption plans to unleash his dark forces; he uses the full force of his armada to strip the Super Rangers and their leader, Major Steel, of their powers. Now as the Sonic Ranger, Rita must lead the Super Rangers on a journey to a distant planet to attain the power of the Samurai-Ninja, only then will they become empowered with a force strong enough to restore their Ranger abilities and defeat Eruption.
