The Rhyme (or not) of the Ancient Minister

Many Christian denominations unite around a three-year set of Bible readings, called the Revised Common Lectionary. The Gospel of Matthew is the main reading in year one, Mark follows the next year and then Luke. The Gospel of John is interspersed throughout each of those years. Rev. Arlyn L. Tolzmann has been ending his sermons with a poem based on the corresponding Gospel reading from that Sunday for most of his over forty year career. This collection of poems includes a poem for every Gospel reading for each of the three years of the Revised Common Lectionary.
