Return to Mandalay

An antiques dealer has to take a trip to Mandalay in Burma, and her grandfather who was present there in the Second World War asks her to return a mysterious artefact to its rightful owner. Secret pasts have light cast on them in this Dinah Jefferies-esque, escapist saga.
