Resolving Social Dilemmas

Defining social dilemmas as situations in which the reward to the individual is higher for a selfish choice than that for a cooperative one, yet all individuals receive a lower payoff without cooperation, the editors present 23 studies of social dilemmas and solutions by psychologists from around the world. Models and theories are discussed, and real world and game theory experiments are presented to throw light on possible solutions to social dilemmas.
