Recognizing and Controlling Nematode Damage on Some Crop Grown in Jamaica

Plant parasitic nematodes! Over 4,000 species are found all over the world. They attack and damage virtually every crop cultivated by man or plants growing naturally and can cause serious problems in home gardens and in cultivations. Most home gardeners or agriculturalists know little or nothing about them since they are not seen; they have been called "the hidden enemy", and the damage is not easy to diagnose, except by specialists.
