Putnam\'s Vegetable Book

Originally published in 1917 under the title "1,000 Hints on Vegetable Gardening," this book deserves a place on every vegetable gardener's bookshelf. It is a valuable collection of common sense and the type of knowledge that can only come from experience. Almost 100 years ago, Mae Savell Croy compiled a collection of hints, techniques and methods that will save the gardener much effort and frustration - and time spent searching through gardening books much larger than this small gem.
