Who is our enemy? How do we fight them? By what power? We no longer have to fear about Satan and his devils and his devices that have been so thoughtfully planned out by him after his fall. He wrote to the Ephesians these truths, to strengthen them, to bring confidence in Christ, to know what they have in his power, to place confidence in God, not in physical armor which they saw every day. That the church could rest and rejoice in victory! Holding up the shield of faith, the sword of the spirit, being covered in the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation.
