When night falls, poetry is my long-lasting companion. I am guided by the rhythm of my heartbeat. I am absorbed in a world of silence. I pour my feelings into the endless nights, indulge myself in this fascination and put my emotions into words. When I first moved to the United States, I experienced extreme culture shock. Different values of life, love, friendship have altered my path to various opportunities. These poems represent different stages of life, the pilgrimage of a lost soul intertwined with challenges and searching for enlightenment. They are the interpretation of life, love, hate, peace, chaos, despair, and joy. Poetry is beautiful, erotic, and personal. It is a way to express feelings through exploitation of words. We are about to embark on a new path to modern thinking through words, through poems.
