"Psychotherapy with Women" provides a clear account of current feminist practice in working with women within the helping professions. It has arisen out of work at the Women's Therapy Centre in London and brings together contributions from eminent women psychotherapists.
The contributors draw on a wide range of theoretical perspectives, ranging from the work of Freud and Jung to more contemporary psychodynamic theories. Yet this book is essentially about psychotherapy in practice, examining core issues including sexuality, aging, family dynamics, disability and ethnicity.
