Uncovering the Changes in Wild Plants in Britain Over the Last Fifty Years. This attractive, illustrated book will examine the stories behind the redistribution of our plants in a variety of habitats including woodland, mountains and wetlands. It will include stunning colour photographs of the plants in their native environments and will use maps from the Botanical Society of the British Isles to illustrate the striking contrast of our landscape between the present day and fifty years ago. This book will tie in directly with the Channel Four show, to be broadcast in Autumn 2012 in six 30-minute episodes.
