Descrizione Perceived Social Support and Stress among Pregnant Women

The present study dealt with the social support and stress among pregnant women. Mother¿s stresses during pregnancy lead to anxiety and mental problems in their infant in the future. Furthermore, stressful pregnancy causes complications for the fetus. We all know that our basic needs are; food, cloth, shelter. Likewise social support is also important for pregnant women. Most pregnant women who are experiencing emotional problems during pregnancy do not get any help from their doctor, nurse or midwife (Freeman, 2012). It is very important that the pregnant woman is aware of how she feels, and asks for help when needed. So the pregnant women should be physically and mentally prepared for the healthy delivery. Feeling of support makes the pregnant women in a stable manner.
