Pasquale\'s Journey

Join Pasquale and his family on a journey from Italy to America. Pasquale feels the need to help Mama support the family as they wait for news from Papa. Pasquale feels Papa may have forgotten them. Pasquale has to wear hand-me-down clothes from his brother Tony. Pasquale's one wish is to have his own shoes. After receiving tickets from Papa, they start their long, exhausting voyage, all the time dreaming of a better life! Pasquale faces many problems on the journey. Pasquale has to learn how to deal with a bully. On the last day, as Pasquale is saying goodbye to his friends, someone takes his shoes from his secret hiding place. Could a simple thing as not having shoes keep Pasquale and his family from joining Papa?
