Anita Poortenga, of "The One Who Is The Scarlet Thread" has written many articles for church newsletters, where she did a series to assist members to understand Jesus as He is revealed throughout the Bible. She was inspired by God to put these teachings into this book. Originally from NY, Anita lives with her husband Terry on a horse farm in Florida, with her loved Paso Fino horses, and her dogs, Cowboy and Indian.
