Tumaliuan, born and raised in the Pacific Islands, in the Philippines, a former Commonwealth of the United States of America. This is the story of an individual with very humble beginnings, who dared to dream for things that were considered almost impossible to achieve during his time. He was one of five among three hundred applicants who succeeded in enlisting in the United States Navy as a teenager on 25 January 1963 in the Philippines. He rose up through the ranks from the depths of the Enlisted Steward rating to a Commissioned Officer rank of full Commander. You will travel to many different parts of the world and learn of the life's struggles and significant personal accomplishments of Aniano (Arnie), the middle child of three children of a World War II soldier and a school teacher from the Philippines. One's Life Story is a motivating autobiography of Aniano T. Tumaliuan. It relates the successful achievement of life-long goals when one pursues such goals with relentless drive and determination.
