On Wings Of Destiny

This airline flight will prove to be anything but restful for Colonel Russell MacDonald, United States Air Force, recently retired. In memory he will find himself thrust back in time to re-live the varied emotions from many significant events that filled his very diversified life, from his early years of inner turmoil as part of a dysfunctional family, through joys and stresses of college years, then through the victories and heartaches of a military career covering the years before, during, and after the war in Viet Nam. Someone once said, philosophically, "The failure of the human mind lies in the fact that while we can re-live the past in memory, the future is as a veil upon the eyes, to be removed we know not when." Now Russ MacDonald will find himself wrestling with the ghosts of the past, but the closure to his life's search awaits him very soon.
