Olafur Eliasson. Innen Stadt Außen. Inner city out

Nach zahlreichen Publikationen ist mit diesem Buch eine Dokumentation "zum Schauplatz von Eliassons Praxis" entstanden. Eigens dafür hat er zahlreiche Installationen im Stadtraum Berlin geschafften. Die Entwicklung ortsbezogener Arbeiten für den musealen Kontext im Berliner Martin-Gropius-Bau, die hier komplett gezeigt wird, wird durch diese Projekte im öffentlichen Raum erweitert und verknüpft die Arbeiten im musealen Raum mit unterschiedlichen Orten innerhalb der Stadt. "Innen Stadt Außen / Inner City Out" nennt Olafur Eliasson denn auch seine enge Beziehung zu Berlin, wo er seit vielen Jahren lebt.
