Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a causative agent of tuberculosis. More than one third of the world population are infected with TB bacilli. Quinoline are well-known pharmacophore in medicinal chemistry showing promising activity against various diseases such as antimalaria, antimicrobial and antituberculosis activity.
