My Journey as a Caregiver

At some point, I decided to try and keep a journal as I went through the process. I did not remember every day, but I believe I captured the stages as I wrote this book. I tried to cover the depression, the loneliness, and isolation I felt at times to accept what was happening and do the best I could. My hope is that this book will help someone else who is a caregiver know that they are not alone, and they will get through it, stronger than they were before. My faith in God and reading a daily Bible verse for inspiration helped me as well. Yes, there were days when I felt that God had abandoned me even though in my heart, I knew he had not. While caring for my spouse, I was unable to find a resource to help me through the different stages of being a 24-7 lone caregiver.
