My Grandfather's Rock

My Grandfather's Rock is a book about a close friendship and remarkable bond between a grandfather and grandson. Minnesota author Ben Sosniecki shares stories of his family's farming heritage and his childhood memories of visiting his grandparent's farm in Southwest Minnesota. For nearly twenty years, Sosniecki and his grandfather, Duane Marholz, have spent much of their time working together on improving the wildlife habitat around the farm. One small project led to another, that later grew into a passion for both of them. This book is filled with great hunting stories and observations that Sosniecki has witnessed and experienced about whitetail behavior and habitat improvement. Most importantly, this is a timeless story about a special relationship between Sosniecki and his grandfather, who have dedicated much of their time turning the farm into a haven for wildlife.
