My First Five Christmases

My First Five Christmases was inspired by watching my grandson during the holiday season. When we see things through the eyes of our children, it allows us to see the innocence and simplicity of life. I often brainstorm ways I can teach him. However, when it comes to certain things it ends up him teaching me. My grandson is a smart and talented little boy. During the last year, he was able to experience going to Christian academy in our hometown. The curriculum there is fantastic. One day, while playing guitar on stage of our own ministry, Kerr Ministry Center, my grandson sang a song called "Oh, When It's Christmas, It's Baby Jesus Birthday." This song was totally unrehearsed and just flowed through him. This moment allowed me to realize the transformation of his faith and heart. It is both mine and his desire to share it with the world.
