My Aunt Calls Me Saree

Travel through Sarahas life, who, as a thirteen-year-old gangly girl, feels out of place. She lives for sports activities, especially swimming. When disobedience to her parents results in an injury, she cannot compete in swimming matches or play any sports; she is devastated. This door is closed to her, but a visit to her beloved Aunt Beth results in another unexpected wonderful door opening. Conflicts constantly arise between Sarah and her father regarding her career choice, her beloved auntas influence on her and especially her aunt calling her Saree. The other door that opens for her by her aunt causes more tension between her father and her. In addition, Sarah tries to accept the fact her secret love for her brotheras best friend will never materialize. The story ends when Sarah is an adult who has learned lessons in life that will always stay with her.
