Muses, Spring 70

This MUSES issue of Spring: A Journal of Archetype and Culture (which is the oldest Jungian psychology journal in the world) provides a comprehensive, multifaceted look at the mythological image of the Greek muses. It contains articles addressing the contemporary relevance of the figure of the muse, including articles about specific modern women who have served as a muses to others (Lou Andreas-Salome, Marilyn Monroe), articles about specific Greek muses (Polyhymnia and Uranos), articles about Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory who is the mother of the muses, and articles about connecting to our inner muse of creativity.
