The Mirrors by Which I End the World

He's been on the run as long as he can remember. She's doesn't know what she's getting into. He shouldn't help her, but he also can't walk away. Michael isn't his name. He's absorbed too many memories and lives to remember who he used to be. With each new place, his name, his memories, and his story changes. He can't stop in one place for too long, or they'll find him and use his powers to drive the world into eternal darkness. Chelsea just earned her PhD in Psych. This should be the happiest moment of her life. But then her parents are murdered, and a mysterious stranger tells her she will be next if she stays. She doesn't know why she should believe him, but she does. She's never been on her own, though. She needs his help. He knows he shouldn't help her. They've found him again. They want her now, too. He doesn't know why, just that he must leave again. She'll only slow him down. But he finds it impossible to walk away from her. But how long can they outrun what's chasing them?
