Shirley Faye Cobb was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a motivational speaker and often referred to as aThe Queen of Addiction Poetry.a Her book, Mending the Hole in My Soul Through Poetry, includes her very personal feelings as she battled the demons of her drug and alcohol addiction. She uses humor, her life experiences, and a loving God to mend the hole in her soul. Shirley formerly worked as a radiology technologist and is very sensitive to the plight of the sick, the elderly, the homeless, the abused and the addicted.
