Love Makes The Ride Worthwhile

This collection of both prose and poetry was written over a period of years and covers a variety of subjects, but the central theme is loveafamily love, romantic love, divine love, and love of life itself. It includes memories of my childhood, military life as a Navy Wave, prayers and meditations, special events in the lives of our four children, and a heartwarming tale of their Grandmother Baker at 95, making Christmas cookies (recipe attached). These true stories reflect the living and loving I have experienced through my family and friends, through my faith, and through the circumstances of my life. Some are sweet, some are funny, and some are sad, for that is the way life is. I would hope they might stir up warm memories of your own childhood, and give you a deeper appreciation of your loved ones, your faith, your traditions, and the generations that have gone before you.
