Loose Ends

Margaret (Maggie) Fleming and James Vincennes live in present-day Los Angeles. Affable and educated, Maggie and James live an affluent life in the Holmby Hills. As president and CEO of his own investment banking company, JVInc, James has provided Maggie with a life most can only dream about. With her best friend Jessie Howell, who works for the Justice Department in the Los Angeles Bureau, she has played in some of the best haunts of the rich and famous. But life as they know it changes when James learns that he is about to be indicted for security violations pertaining to a particular investment fund. After a long and relatively futile effort to diplomatically resolve these issues through his attorney, Marshall Spense, he and Maggie formulate an elaborate aescapea plan in which they would both leave the country. What begins for Maggie is a journey of independence and self-discovery that leads her to her own heartas desire.
